Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Honest Day, you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you confirm you can accept them for that company. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Honest Day is operated by KMF Ventures LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company, and made by Ankur Shrestha. In these terms, "we" means KMF Ventures LLC. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle data.

Honest Day is a web app for time tracking, timesheet approvals, client invoicing and contractor pay.

• Free: up to 5 members, unlimited projects, clients and time entries, 20 AI turns a day. Invoices carry a small "Sent with Honest Day" footer.
• Premium: unlimited seats, priced per workspace as described under "Billing and subscriptions".

Workspace owners can upgrade to Premium at any time from Settings, then Plan, inside the app.

Payments for paid plans are processed by Polar, which acts as the merchant of record. Polar handles sales tax and VAT, and invoices, receipts and refunds are handled through Polar. For help with any of them, email hello@honestday.app.

Premium can be billed monthly or yearly. Monthly plans renew every month until you cancel. Yearly plans renew once a year until you cancel.

Premium is $9 per workspace per month, or $90 per workspace per year, for the first 1,000 workspaces. That is a launch price, and it applies to monthly and yearly plans alike: you keep it for as long as that subscription stays active. After the first 1,000 workspaces, Premium is $19 per workspace per month, or $190 per workspace per year.

You can cancel at any time. After you cancel, Premium continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.

If we change the price for existing subscribers, we will give at least 30 days' notice before it applies, and never retroactively for a period you have already paid for.

You are responsible for your account and for what happens in your workspace. Keep your sign-in methods secure and tell us if you think someone else has access. Workspace owners decide who joins, what they can see and what happens to the workspace's data. You must be at least 16 and give us accurate information.

Please do not:

• break the law or use the service to harm others;
• try to access other people's workspaces or data;
• probe, overload or disrupt the service, or work around plan limits or rate limits;
• upload malware or content you have no right to share;
• use the service to spy on people in ways they have not agreed to.

We may suspend accounts that put the service or other people at risk.

You own the data you put into Honest Day. You give us a limited license to store, process and display it, only as needed to run the service for you, including through the providers named in the Privacy Policy. We do not claim ownership of it.

You can export your data as CSV at any time. You are responsible for having the right to enter the data you enter, such as your clients' and team members' details.

Invoices, estimates and contractor pay statements are between you and the people you send them to. Honest Day is not a party to them. We are not a payment processor, a bank or an accountant. We do not send money to contractors: a statement and its paid status are records you keep.

If you connect your own Stripe account to take card payments, your relationship with Stripe is governed by Stripe's terms. Check taxes, rates and amounts yourself. Nothing in Honest Day is tax, legal or accounting advice.

The assistant and quick entry use AI, which can be wrong. Review what it logs, answers or drafts before you rely on it, especially amounts, dates and anything that goes to a client.

We work hard to keep Honest Day running, but we provide it as is and as available. We do not guarantee uptime yet, and we may change, pause or remove features. We will give notice of changes that significantly affect you where we reasonably can.

You can stop using Honest Day at any time. You can ask us to delete your account or workspace, as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or put the service at risk, and where reasonable we will tell you why and give you time to export your data.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, lost data or lost business.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 100. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Wyoming have jurisdiction over any dispute, except where the law of your place of residence gives you rights that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will update the date at the top and tell workspace owners by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Honest Day after that, you accept the new terms.
