Billing is handled by Polar as merchant of record. Workspace owners upgrade from Settings, then Plan, inside the app. Cancel any time; Premium continues until the end of the period you paid for.

Adding a person inside a block of 10 does not change the price, and projects, clients, tasks and invoices are never charged for. To compare with per-seat tools, use the cost calculator.
What Honest Day does not have
Pricing is only part of the decision. These are the gaps you should weigh against the price:
- No native iPhone, Android or desktop apps. Honest Day is a web app you can add to your home screen.
- No QuickBooks or Xero sync. Invoices export as CSV files you import into QuickBooks Online or Xero.
- No SAML single sign-on. People sign in with passkeys or an email link.
- Contractor pay statements show what each person is owed from their hours. Honest Day does not send the payment.
- Entries are written by people (or by the assistant when asked). Honest Day does not track in the background.

Questions
Is there a free trial of Premium?
Yes. Try Premium free for 21 days. No card. Up to 10 people for 21 days, then your workspace goes back to Free by itself. Nothing is deleted. During the trial QuickBooks sync is not included, and the assistant has 100 turns a day. There is one trial per person and per company.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The free plan covers up to 5 members, with unlimited projects, clients, time entries and invoices. The web page and email for an invoice carry a small "Sent with Honest Day" line on the free plan, which you can switch off in Settings. PDFs never carry it. You do not need a credit card to start.
Do I pay per person?
Not per person. Premium is priced in blocks of 10 people: $9 a month at launch ($19 after the first 1,000 workspaces) covers up to 10 people, and each extra block of 10 adds $10 a month, up to 100 people. Adding one person inside a block does not change the price. There are no usage fees for projects, clients, tasks or invoices.
What counts toward team size?
The number of members in your workspace. Your current count and the next price step are shown under Settings, then Plan.
What happens to the launch price after 1,000 workspaces?
The launch price for the first block of 10 people is $9 per month, or $90 per year, for the first 1,000 workspaces. After that, new subscriptions are $19 a month or $190 a year for the first block. Extra blocks cost the same $10 a month ($100 a year) either way. A subscription started at the launch price keeps that price for as long as it stays active.
What if we have more than 100 people?
Email hello@honestday.app for enterprise pricing. Plans above 100 people are quoted individually.
How much is yearly billing?
$90 a year for the first block at the launch price, which is two months free and works out at $7.50 a month. After the launch, the first block is $190 a year. Each extra block is $100 a year.
Who handles billing?
Polar is the merchant of record, so it takes the payment and handles sales tax. Workspace owners upgrade from Settings, then Plan, inside the app. You can cancel any time and Premium continues until the end of the period you paid for.
What happens to my data if I leave?
Nothing is deleted when you downgrade or cancel. You can export your time as CSV whenever you like.
