Harvest pricing in 2026: plans and usage fees explained

Harvest Teams costs from $9 per seat per month billed annually ($108 per seat a year) or $11 billed monthly. Enterprise is from $14 annually or $17.50 monthly. On top of the seat price, extra invoices, projects, clients and tasks are billed by usage.

How the usage charges work

Harvest's help centre explains that each plan is billed either as Flex or Unlimited. With Flex you pay a per-seat rate plus usage-based charges calculated on the previous billing period's activity: active projects, active clients, active tasks and invoicing. Only items with time tracked in the period count, and each plan includes a free usage allowance, so you are charged only for usage above it. Unlimited is a fixed usage fee instead.

For new accounts, usage-based charges begin at the second paid renewal. The allowance and the per-unit rates are not published on the pricing page, so no outside article can tell you your bill. Harvest says you can see your usage and projected charges, and model changes, in Settings, then Billing (My usage billing, then Compare subscription options, then Simulate usage changes).

What to compare if you look elsewhere

  • Per seat or by team size. Per-seat tools grow with every person, including contractors. Honest Day prices in blocks of 10 people, so adding a person inside a block does not change the bill.
  • What the price includes. On Harvest, approvals and profitability reporting are on Enterprise. Check which plan holds the features you use, on every tool.
  • Usage fees. Ask whether projects, clients, tasks or invoices change the bill. Toggl Track and Clockify list seat prices; Honest Day has no usage fees.
  • Billing period. Compare monthly with monthly and annual with annual.
  • Your own data. Check how your last three months of projects, clients and invoices would be counted before you decide.

When Harvest is still the better choice

  • You want native iPhone, Android and desktop apps, which Honest Day does not have.
  • You rely on accounting sync (QuickBooks Online, Xero) rather than file exports.
  • You need SAML single sign-on.
  • Your usage stays inside Harvest's allowance, so your bill stays close to the seat price.

If you decide to move

Honest Day imports Harvest time exports, with a preview and no duplicates when run twice. The steps and what does not come across are on the Honest Day vs Harvest page. Honest Day Premium is $9 a month at launch for up to 10 people ($19 after), then $10 per extra 10; see pricing.
